On August 11, a batch of SUNWARD SWTH4517 telescopic handlers was loaded and shipped to Africa. The equipment will support local development and construction projects, further expanding SUNWARD's presence in the African construction machinery market.
The new-generation SWTH4517 has been comprehensively upgraded in design, visibility, operating comfort, safety and maintenance convenience. Inspired by an eagle-wing design concept, the machine combines a powerful appearance with improved functionality. The swing-type leveling outriggers simplify the structure and reduce machine weight while expanding the operator's field of vision. Additional lower door glass further improves visibility and operational safety.

The upgraded electronic control joystick provides faster response and improved operating precision. The cab is equipped with a 10.1-inch display, bus air conditioning, an entertainment system and multiple charging ports to enhance operator comfort.
For safer operation, the telescopic handler features a boom angle sensor, ACT load weighing system and rear axle torque limiting system, monitoring boom position, load weight and axle load in real time. Nine major filters for the engine, transmission, hydraulic and air conditioning systems are arranged for easier access, helping improve maintenance efficiency and reduce service workload.
Before shipment, each machine underwent rigorous testing and inspection, including uneven road testing, large-angle parking and braking distance tests, ensuring reliable performance for demanding applications. The latest batch shipment highlights the growing recognition of SUNWARD telescopic handlers in overseas markets and further supports the company's expansion across Africa.
