Recently, LIUGONG 973FMH dual-power grabber was delivered to the Baota operation area of Long'an Port in Guangxi, helping Long'an County Hetai Port Service Co., Ltd. to start the unloading of coking coal and bauxite.

The biggest highlight of the 973FMH grabber is its unique dual-power system, which can be equipped with a diesel engine and an electric motor at the same time. When it is necessary to transfer, the 973FMH starts the diesel engine mode and removes the external cable, making the whole machine more flexible to move; after arriving at the operation site, connect the cable and start the electric mode, which is more energy-saving; in special circumstances such as power outages, start the diesel engine mode and perform normal operations. The dual-power design takes advantage of the portability and flexibility of the engine and the environmental protection and energy saving of the electric motor, achieving the effect of 1+1＞2.

The 973FMH is equipped with a 5m³ shell bucket as standard, and the weight of the whole machine is 74.3t. With the design of variable track large chassis, wheelbase of 4750mm and maximum variable track gauge of 4050mm, the whole machine is more stable and safer to operate. In addition, the product is equipped with a 12.5m boom and an 8m bucket rod, with a larger working range and a larger single grab volume. The standard lifting cab has a maximum lifting range of 0~2.5m and a maximum horizontal field of vision of 5.9m for the operator. At the same time, the cab has the characteristics of micro-pressurization, high sealing and low noise, and is equipped with sunshades to give the driver a better comfort experience.
