Introduction to Forklifts
A forklift is a self-propelled loading and unloading conveying machine equipped with a fork and a lifting device. It is a variety of wheeled transport vehicles for loading and unloading, stacking and short-distance transportation of palletized goods. In 1917, the American Clark Equipment Company first began to trial-produce forklifts, and hydraulic lifting forklifts were officially launched on the market in 1932.

Introduction to Forklifts

Most forklifts use hydraulic mechanical transmission and are composed of a power unit, a frame, a working mechanism, a traveling mechanism and a steering mechanism. Common forklifts are equipped with a counterweight at the rear of the body. Forklifts have the advantages of flexibility, strong adaptability and high efficiency.

According to the installation position of the fork, they are divided into front forklifts and side forklifts. The structural characteristics and working performance of forklifts are indicated by technical parameters such as rated lifting capacity, load center distance, and mast inclination angle. They are usually divided into internal combustion forklifts, electric forklifts and other types.

They are widely used in various sectors of the national economy such as stations, ports, airports, factories, and warehouses.

A forklift license is a special equipment operation license. It is issued by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. A forklift is a tool vehicle and can only be used in the workplace of an organization. It cannot be used as a means of transportation on the road. Before taking the forklift license test, you must first learn to drive a forklift. You must receive training from a formal training institution. The training institution will then submit the materials for the municipal safety supervision bureau to assess the driver. Only after passing the theoretical and practical operation tests can you obtain a forklift license.

Forklift licenses can be taken by people aged 18 or above and under 55 years old.
