What Is A Wheel Loader?
1. Use
The loader is mainly used for shoveling, loading, unloading, and transporting scattered materials such as soil and stone, and can also perform light shoveling operations on rocks and hard soil. If different working equipment is replaced, it can complete the work of bulldozing, lifting and loading and unloading other materials. In highway construction, it is mainly used for filling and digging of roadbed engineering, aggregate and loading of asphalt and cement concrete fields. Because of its advantages such as fast running speed, good maneuverability, and light operation, it has developed rapidly and has become the main machine for earth and stone construction.
2. Classification
Commonly used single bucket loaders are classified according to the power of the engine, the form of transmission, the structure of the walking system and the way of loading.
Engine Power:
(1) The power of the small loader is less than 74kw.
(2) The power of 74-147kw is a medium loader
(3) The power of the large loader is 147-515kw
(4) The power above 515kw is a special large loader
Transmission Form:
(1) Hydraulic mechanical transmission, small shock and vibration, long service life of transmission parts, convenient operation, automatic adjustment between vehicle speed and load, generally used for large and medium-sized loaders.
(2) Hydraulic transmission: It can be adjusted steplessly, and can be controlled between stools, but the starting performance is poor, and it can only be used on small loaders in general.
Power transmission: stepless speed regulation, reliable operation, simple maintenance, high cost, generally used for large loaders.
3. Walking Structure:
Tire type: light weight, fast speed, flexible maneuvering, high efficiency, not easy to damage the road surface, high ground specific pressure, poor trafficability, but widely used.
Crawler type: small grounding rate, good trafficability, low center of gravity, good stability, strong adhesion, high traction, high cutting force, low speed, poor flexibility, high cost, and easy to damage the road surface when walking.
4. Loading And Unloading Method:
Front unloading: simple structure, reliable operation, good vision, suitable for various job sites and a wide range of applications;
Rotary type: the working device is installed on a 360° turntable with a slewing belt. The side unloading does not need to be turned, and the operation efficiency is high, but the structure is complicated, the mass is high, the cost is high, and the side stability is poor, so it is suitable for the field with weak competition.
Rear unloading type: front-end loading, rear-end unloading, high efficiency, poor operation safety.
