Currently, XCMG is accelerating the development of green and intelligent mining by building a full-scenario equipment system for open-pit mines through intelligent machinery and clean energy solutions.

XCMG provides core equipment including unmanned pure electric mining trucks, hydrogen-powered trucks, electric/hybrid excavators, loaders, and graders. By adopting intelligent and electrified technologies, these products enable low-carbon and unmanned operations across the entire mining process.

Take the XE1350E electric hydraulic excavator as an example: field-tested at an iron mine in Hebei, the machine demonstrated an average power consumption of 270 kWh per hour and 0.49 kWh per ton. It achieved a monthly output of 308,600 tons, significantly reducing operating costs for the customer.

In partnership with Huaneng, XCMG has deployed over 100 Ruili unmanned electric mining trucks at the Yimin open-pit coal mine. These trucks, equipped with a trinity system of wire-controlled chassis, battery and swap system, and autonomous driving, enable L4-level unmanned operations around the clock. This not only improves overall transport efficiency but also reduces diesel usage and CO₂ emissions.

XCMG recently showcased successful implementations at the Yimin, Shenyen, Shenbao, and Pingzhuang coal mines, as well as China Resources Cement, all demonstrating excellent performance and strong environmental benefits.
