Chinese Agricultural Machinery Is Praised
On June 17, Li Dianxun, deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, led a delegation to visit the Dominican Republic to connect cooperation projects in economy, trade, humanities, and agricultural machinery. Sun Changjun, vice president of ZOOMLION， participated in related activities with the delegation.
In the Dominican Republic, Cruz, the Minister of Agriculture of the Dominican Republic, expressed great gratitude to Hunan for its agricultural technology and equipment assistance and was full of expectations for the in-depth cooperation between Hunan and the Dominican Republic. He also said with emotion and from the heart: "At the beginning, many people asked me why I wanted to introduce Chinese agricultural machinery. Later, no farmer said that ZOOMLION's agricultural machinery was not good. In the future, we will continue to introduce Chinese agricultural machinery."
In 2018, my country established diplomatic relations with the Dominican Republic. In 2021, Hunan Province donated a ZOOMLION sugarcane harvester to the Dominican Republic. With the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides, ZOOMLION has gradually been widely recognized in the Dominican Republic. In August 2021, Dominican dealers purchased more than 5 million yuan worth of ZOOMLION agricultural machinery equipment; in 2023, in the Dominican government's centralized procurement of high-horsepower tractors, rice harvesters, and sugarcane harvesters, ZOOMLION competed with agrarian machinery brands from Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries, and stood out with its high-quality products and services, and successfully won the bid with a purchase value of 16.68 million yuan.
It is understood that in addition to the Dominican Republic, from June 11 to 20, the delegation also visited Turkey and Mexico, accurately connecting with the three countries in the fields of economy, trade, and humanities, actively integrating into the global innovation network and industrial ecology, and better serving the overall national diplomacy and the high-quality development of Hunan.
